Stolen Car Of Graham Norton Discovered

Graham Norton, whose black Lexus hybrid 4×4 was stolen outside his home in East London can heave a sigh of relief. The car has been found by the police, thanks to the installed Stolen Vehicle Recovery unit
(SVR) operated by Tracker. Norton, a famous TV and radio celebrity made an appeal on radio and twitter to his fans to find his car.

Norton’s can was fitted with SVR which was activated and this helped police to locate the car in Wandsworth, south-west London. A delighted Norton said that he was quite surprised and happy that the tracker helped to recover his car quickly. He further added that that it is shocking to even think of thieves breaking into house, stealing keys and allowing them to drive off with the car along with all the valuables. Norton recommended that everyone who wants to secure their car from burglary must have tracker installed in them.

Stuart Chapman, Tracker’s police relationships manager said that Norton is lucky that his car was fitted with the state-of-the-art tracking security technology which helped police to locate the vehicle. He further added that they are the only stolen vehicle recovery provider with all 52 police forces in the United Kingdom and this has proved critical for their success.

Of late, trouble of car thefts has been on a rise in UK. The figure has risen from 74% to 84% in just a couple of years, added Chapman. He further said that many criminals now know the art of breaking into homes and stealing keys of vehicles. Tracker SVR works like an electronic homing device where a covert transmitter is hidden in the vehicle which is difficult for the thief to locate. Even if the vehicle is in the garage or in a shipping container, the device works and helps authorities to catch the culprits.
